In order to join us, you must fulfill the following criteria
- You must be age 16 and over to join the SAS ranks
- If you are younger than 16 years old, the only chance you have to join the team is
getting a positive vote from the GCHQ. To obtain this vote you must talk
with a Cpl or up and ask him about it.
- Persons 16 years and older must complete a minimum 2 week Recruit program prior to being
offered a chance for Trooper status.
- You must speak English
- You must be able to commit to at least 5 hours per week
- You must respect the SAS ranking system
- You must be dedicated to improving your skill

kind of team you're looking for by reading below and submitting the
application located below. Please note that you will not get a reply,
but we will be looking for you in our room. Applicants will get priority
over non-applicants if slots need to be opened in the server.

Joining Procedure

Before you can play with us, please check our download section and get the maps our server uses.
|

As we are a team dedicated to elite, realistic gameplay, we will only recruit
elite players. In order to join us, you will be required to pass an extremely
difficult tryout that will consist of 2 coop games.
However, before you are given a tryout, you must play with us for a period of one
week using your own screen name. After that week, if we think you are a
skilled player, and you get on well with the members, you will be given
the rank of recruit. This means that you are able to play with us with the
screen name SAS_Rct_Yourname.

The Tryouts

You will be assessed using the following score card. Lance Corporals (LCpls) and up
will give a point for each category.
FOR EXAMPLE - IN 'ORDERS', IF THE RECRUIT CARRIED OUT MOST ORDERS, BUT NOT ALL,
THE TRAINER CAN AWARD HIM/HER ANYTHING BETWEEN 0 & 5 POINTS.

| Followed orders precisely (action, did he do the right thing?). |
| Good speed/fluid when executing orders (was he smooth). |
| Used Element Leader responses/comms appropriately and frequently enough. |
| Awaited orders before carrying out further actions. |

| 2. MOVEMENT |
| Used good cover, did not expose himself needlessly. |
| Moved well, doing his/her best to keep out of line of fire of fellow officers. |

| 3. POSITIONING |
| Stacked properly on unopened doors, using proper crouching and leaning. |

| Avoided firing unnecessary rounds (used 2 shots to the center of mass initially). |

| 5. REACTION TO THREAT |
| Yelled comprimised when a threat was present, or when a situation was uncertain or strange. |
| Neutralized threats with swift response, if he or team was threatened. |

| Shows a positive attitude towards the game and respect towards SAS members and friends (Was readily willing to download the required files, etc). |
| Conducts him/her self with mature thinking and actions. |
